 is a digitized database,  that aims to reconstruct the Historical vital statistics of  the Italian population through the digitization of  documentary sources preserved in the State Archives.

…is a public  service  created  to improve  access to traditional  sources,  using   modern  on-line tools.

…is available for the needs of various types of users: historical researchers, genealogists, Italian Citizen living overseas, or people of Italian heritage.

…is a tool that may be used for: obtaining Italian citizenship,  demographical and historical studies,  statistics as well as  reconstructing family trees.
